Top 5 Air Travel Apps in Switzerland Q4 2022 Performance

The fourth quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top air travel apps in Switzerland. Here, we analyze the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the leading five apps: easyJet: Travel App, Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker, SWISS, Wizz Air - Book Flights, and Ryanair.

easyJet: Travel App experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 5.4K at the start of the quarter to a low of 2.3K by late November. SWISS noted a steady decrease in weekly downloads from 3.8K in late September to a low of 1.6K in early December. However, there was a slight uptick towards the end of December, reaching 2.7K. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 6.1K at the start of the quarter to 4.7K by late December.

Wizz Air - Book Flights maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting at 1.1K and ending the quarter at 1.2K. Active users followed a similar pattern, fluctuating slightly but ending the quarter at 5.9K, up from 5.5K in late September.

Ryanair showed a modest decline in weekly downloads from 1K in late September to 661 by late November. A recovery was seen in December, with downloads peaking at 968 in the final week. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 4.9K and ending the quarter at 5K.
